Meng Lei studied at the South China University of Technology (SCUT) for 2 years and majored in Optoelectronic Information Science and Engineering. In mid-2016, he participated the 2+2 Undergraduate Double Bachelor Program between UNSW and SCUT and enrolled in Photovoltaics and Solar Energy Engineering.
Currently, he works on the thesis topic of quantifying the optical losses of various novel carrier-selective contacts (e.g. MoOx, NiOx and TiO2) at module level by SunSolveTM simulation.
