On Friday 7 June 2019, The Hon. (Matt) Matthew Kean, the NSW Minister for Energy and Environment, visited our Solar Industry Research Facility (SIRF) to look at our groundbreaking facilities aimed at improving solar cell efficiency and decrease cost. It was great to see the enthusiasm of the minister for the work done at UNSW. The NSW government has a strong focus on delivering affordable and reliable energy for the state and UNSW is convinced that renewable energy will play an important role in achieving this!
