Xin Cui has won a prestigious ACAP (Australian Centre for Advanced Photovoltaics) Fellowship valued at A$ 280,000 before even handing in her thesis! Her project is entitled “Interface Engineering by Atomic Layer Deposition for High-performance Earth-abundant Solar Cells” and aims to developing high-performance earth-abundant solar cells through interface engineering by atomic layer deposition (ALD).
