Michael Zeng is a final year undergraduate student at the School of Photovoltaics and Renewable Energy at UNSW. He is currently writing a thesis on the topic of the recent devastating bushfires and their effect on the output of PV panels. Currently Michael is using Python to carry out large scale data manipulation and interpretation, and he hopes to find and quantify the link between the haze caused by the bushfires and the loss in energy from PV installed around NSW.
