
Tian ZHAO is a PhD student under the supervision of Prof. Bram Hoex and Dr. Phillip Hamer in the School of Photovoltaic and Solar Energy Engineering, UNSW Sydney. He graduated from UNSW in July 2011 for his Master of Engineering Science on Photovoltaic and Solar Energy. After that, he has been working in the PV industry for 13 years, serving in TUV Rheinland as PV Module Project Engineer, Solar Energy Research Institute of Singapore (SERIS) as research assistant, Jinko Power as PV plant O&M data analysis engineer, and Sungrow Power as team leader for PV + energy storage + hydrogen system simulation group. He is main PhD topic is the ARENA project ‘Optimal O&M Strategy and LCOE modelling for Ground Mounted PV’.
