Aeron is currently a PhD candidate under the supervision of Professor Bram Hoex and Dr Muhammad Umair Khan in the School of Renewable Energy Engineering (SPREE) at the University of New South Wales. In 2024, Aeron completed her bachelor’s degree (Honours) in Photovoltaic Energy Engineering, with honours research focusing on illuminating the root mechanisms behind ultra-violet light induced degradation in silicon solar cells, primarily PERC and TOPCon structures. In June 2025, she rejoined the Hoex group to continue this research in the form of a PhD.
